OUR SERVICES
Meditation
The aim of meditation for youth and adults is to increase confidence, reduce stress, improve relationships, learn effectively, and generally be happier. The art of mediation also helps improve concentration and helps with coordination. Participants learn their breathing can be a foundation for all stressful situations; they learn how to use their breathing to work with any distressing thoughts and emotions.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi: Tai Chi benefits for beginners include improved health, balance, and better stress management. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that has evolved over centuries to become a means of alleviating stress and anxiety, a form of "meditation in motion." Advocates claim that it promotes serenity and inner peace. It is safe for all ages, it does not put stress on the muscles
Safe Talk
To effectively implement Safe Talk training to leaders in the community, a program designed by Living Works, an internationally known Suicide Prevention Intervention Strategist Organization. safeTALK is a half-day alertness training that prepares anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide alert helper. Most people with thoughts of suicide don’t truly want to die but are struggling with the pain in their lives. Through their words and actions, they invite help to stay alive.
