MISSION STATEMENT:

Our Mission is to help prevent suicide through public awareness, education and motivation; also, to act as a resource center.

VISION:

Blue Moon 211 Inc. will reach out to the communities through determination and dedication helping save lives,
inspiring peace and making a difference in the world.

GOALS:​

​

Offer a motivating environment where youths and adults can interact with professionals,
educators, parents and volunteers.

​

Reach out to youths and adults of diverse backgrounds and cultures throughout the community.

​

Attend community events, speaking engagements and any other community activities handing out informative information on suicide awareness, prevention and postvention.

​

Educate our board of directors, staff and volunteers through workshops and conferences ensuring they are knowledgeable on the awareness and prevention of suicide; also, the resources that are available through the community

​

Implement the Gatekeepers Program to professionals, educators and parents so they can be aware of the indicators and warning signs of suicide and become an advocate on suicide awareness and prevention.

​

Become a link to the community and professional counselors, local hospitals, 911 (emergency line), 211 (information line) or the 1800 273-talk -8255 (crisis line).
