If we aid, our community to recognize these signs this will help to retain our future. We are dedicated to finding preventive methods so that our children can reach out to the 211 hot lines, community organizations and God to get the help they need. We as parents must instill trust and faith back into our children minds, showing them that we love them; God loves them and we want them to have a better future for tomorrow.
I have a personal stake in this issue. In January 2013, after reading an article about a young man who took his life in Seattle without knowing that there was help out there. He gave up. God placed this vision in my life to carry out his mission. If, I can reach out to one soul, I will have touched many souls. Help us to save a soul. The letter he left behind touched my spirit when he wrote “God, please forgive me.!" --"I heard your cry Freddie." Our children are taking their lives because there is no HOPE for tomorrow, all...Faith has gone. No pain is greater for a family or community than the loss of loved ones as a result of suicide. And, no loss is more tragic than the loss of a life due to hopelessness and despair.
